MALWARE ALERT: Fake Mac AV app is a trojan. Watch what and where you download. (Update 1)

Tuaw.com (The Unoffical Apple Weblog) has reported that Apple will release a software update (Presumably Mac OS X 10.6.8) to update Snow Leopards malware database in the next few days to stop MacDefender and it's variants from infecting more Mac systems. For now continue to use your anti-virus software. I'll have more information in a few days.
