25th Anniversary of the Mac and life in general.

There's a few things I want to talk about today, but first I want to apologize for the long delay in posting, I've been away from this blog for 5 months because I really didn't have much to say, and the fact that I just wanted to spend some time with my family. I had a nice thanksgiving with my family, got a Nintendo Wii with Guitar Hero World Tour which I have been having a lot of fun with.
Now on to the topic of this post. First I have had back problems and this is really weird, I was setting something down one day when I felt a muscle tighten up in the left side of my back (I was wearing a back brace at the time), I have been in a lot of pain and the weirdest thing happened to me today, I was having breakfast, I was not wearing my back brace, when I felt the muscle that caused the first back pain tighten up again and I have been in pain all day.
Now for some good news, January 24th, 2009 will be the 25th anniversary of the Mac, I was six years old when the Mac was released to the public on Jan, 24th, 1984. I don't remember when that happened, probably because I too young to remember or didn't care. Everything we take for granted today (the GUI, mouse, and the desktop with icons for disks, printers, menus, folders, etc.) we all owe to the original Macintosh, and to commemorate the occasion Macworld magazine has issued a special edition of the first cover of their magazine to subscribers only. So those of us that have older Macs (like the Macintosh Plus), dig it out of storage and use it on January 24, 2009, to celebrate 25 great years of the computer that helped change the world and the way that we work with computers today.
