Well, my mom is about to embark on a new journey. A journey of no more adware, spyware, or malware. It will be a good journey for her, mainly because she gets sick and tired of having to download security updates every week, and not having to use the biggest security hole in the history of the web, Internet Explorer.
Yesterday she called Apple and ordered the entry level white MacBook, with a 2GHz Intel Core 2 Duo Processor, 120 GB Hard disk and a protective sleeve. She wants me to teach her how to use Mac OS X and Safari, iChat, etc. When she got off the phone with Apple I applauded her for coming over to the Mac.
I hope I'm not the first to welcome her to this new world, but let me say to my mom "Welcome To Macintosh." Here's a quote from my brothers blog "Once you make the move, you'll never go back."
